Just For Teens Programs
In this podcast the girls spoke with Caroline Schreiber who is a Teen Program Specialist for the Girl Scout Council of the Nations Capital. She speaks of her job duties GS Teen Programs and opportunities that are offered to girls such as Congressional Aid, Girl Scout Scholorships, A Maze, Green Programs, and Teen Edition.

Courage, Confidence and Character one PROGRAM at a time
In this installment we hear from Program Specialist, Ms. Kaitlin Hasseler, from GSCNC. We hear about the grant funded programs she develops for the Girl Scouts in our Counsel. She tells us how through these partnerships the Girl Scouts is able to offer many programs.
For all ages there is Grow Strong, a healthy living program
Capital Currency teaches financial literacy and helps teens make smart budgeting decisions.
For teens there is the Dashboard Road Safety Program and Make the Connection is a mentoring program with Booz Allen Hamilton that teaches about career opportunities, interview techniques, team building, etc.
Destinations helps girls travel all over the United States and world for trips with many focuses like science and extreme outdoors.
The Community Action Project is the GSUSA sponsored project. Troops and girls identify environmental projects. This project ties into the Environmental Journeys.

Lifelong Girl Scout
In this podcast we talk to Ms. Elizabeth Assenza who is a Field Director for our Association in the Girl Scout's Council of the National's Capital. We discuss with her how she came to interested in Girl Scouts and how that has brought her to working with Girl Scouting. Ms. Assenza works in recruitment, runs a reach out camp, and helps Girls and Leaders. She also tells us about her favorite part of Girl Scouting and her experiences within it.

We learn why they became Troop leaders, how they keep girls motivated and what they enjoy about being a Troop leader. We also hear about some of the trips they have taken - and some of the service projects they have participated in.
